New Publication Connecting Microbial Genes, Isotopes, and Nitrogen Emissions
Former graduate student Erin Lennon and Ben published a study on the relationship between microbial genes, isotopes and gaseous nitrogen emissions from soil in the International Society for Microbial Ecology Jounal (ISME-Nature). This research demonstrates how microborganisms are connected to global patterns in nitrogen gas emissions from the land, which is a key aspect of global climate change.
